WHAT'S THIS?

ARCH: THE HOLY TRINITY is an ongoing RPG passion project of mine, originally conceived out of boredom in a high school art history class in 2018 and still going strong.

ARCH follows the adventures of three deeply religious weirdos: Roman, a passionate, fiery nun; Geoff, an aspiring priest-mixologist; and Byz, an unhealthily paranoid artist, as they venture throughout Heaven to banish demons tormenting the sacred realm… or maybe they just want an excuse to beat the ever-loving holy hell out of things.

ARCH draws visual inspiration from the UPA style of animation, Catholic art and architecture, and the bold, satirical aesthetics of the queer 90s Europop trio Army of Lovers. Gameplay and story-wise, it takes inspiration from Deltarune, Toontown Online, Super Paper Mario, and the Drawn to Life series. (And, well, the Bible, of course.)

THE TRINITY

Our trio of undistinguished heroes. A devoted nun, an unordained priest, a tortured artist (and a pet gargoyle, I guess). They live together in a large church and have stood by each other through everything. Their love for one another can move mountains, just as their faith in the Lord can, hopefully.

ENEMY DESIGN

Demons are nasty little freaks straight from hell- they are scavengers who rummage through the back alleys of heaven, searching for pure vessels to corrupt and consume. Visually influenced by medieval illustrations of demons, and other spooky stuff.

ENVIRONMENTAL CONCEPTS

Large, hierarchical structures built in Heaven. Inspired by historical Catholic art and architecture.
